Christmas sewing time yet?

I’ve been ordering a bit of Christmas fabric lately and thinking about what to make as I want to do a Christmas market or two before the year is out. I found one of these coasters as I was unpacking last week and I have to say that it’s still one of my favourite Christmas projects and you can start now making the little hexagon flowers while watching TV.

Instructions can be found here…….and another favourite that is super easy are these santa sacks that double as a pillowcase. You can find the super easy instructions here…..the fabric I used is by Michael Miller and I’m happy to report that the gold dots have survived the wash (many times!).

Comments

  1. I can’t sew but I make cards. I am determined to start early this year & get them made in time. Just waiting for a delivery of some supplies

  2. I made matching Christmas pyjamas for my kids last year and I’ll make them again this year. I made them with friends, which is the plan again … I’ll need to source fabric once school goes back to make them.
I’m also planning some beeswax wraps as teachers gifts, not sewing but fabric based.
I just looked through your Instagram and it looks like your move went well. I hope all your kids settle into their new schools well.
