Well another sign that I’m way too busy for my own good, charm squares that have been sitting all wrapped up in a box in my craft room. I’m too embarrassed to tell you when they arrived on my doorstep. First up is Regent St which is Liberty inspired and is the softest loveliest fabric range I’ve seen in a while. Perfect for hexagons, pinwheels and more classic quilts. I’m even going to earmark a pack for yo-yo hairclips. A little bit more expensive than the regular Moda charm square packs but only a couple of dollars.
Next up the latest range Modern Workshop from Oliver & S for Moda. Very different to the previous range but very modern and will make a gorgeous quilt or sewing project. I imagine a lot of white in a quilt with this one to really make the colours and designs pop.
And because I have a soft spot for anything floral, Strawberry Fields is so pretty too. Spots, tiny gingham, little flowers and strawberries. Perfect for girly girls like the ones who live at my house. All of us. Girly girls.
Half will go in the store next week and I’m taking the remaining half with me to the next Mathildas Market which is on in ahem…..2 weeks. Have I done anything. No. Do I have too much stock to take. Yes. Will I have a big car to take it all in. YOU BET! There is a lovely shiny new VW Multivan with a big sold sign on it at the dealer. Yay retro daddy, we looooove you! I’ll definitely be doing a car review with lots of photos for my large family friends out there. S-P-A-C-I-O-U-S. We’ll talk about parking later.
The charm squares are gorgeous! And I look forward to hearing about the car. We’re thinking either the chrysler grand voyager or the VW multivan. Mr Duyvken likes the look of the multivan but I’m not thrilled about how much like a courier can it looks. Of course, people with 5 children can’t be too fussy about how the car looks We haven’t done any test driving yet but later in the year we’ll be looking to get something bigger than the odyssey. It’s been a great car but we’re growing out of it for sure!
Lovely fabric. I’m glad the multivan won you over. I couldn’t help but comment about them in your post about your broken down car. I’m sure you will be really happy with it. Jacinta
Strawberry Fields looks yummy! Where is some cream when you need it?
Yay for your brand new roomy retrofamily transport ve-hi-cle!!
And room for one more *wink*

Yay for a new van, and also for new fabric. I often leave things packaged up to ‘find’ and open as a ‘surpise’ to myself later!
That’s great news Corrie, you must be so excited! The parking will become easier in time, and you will have a better view as you are up higher.
I’d not seen the Oliver + S new modern line – I like it!

I had to google the Multivan 😉 Yay! Can’t wait for your review! You must be relieved to have new wheels.
