Well last night was lots of fun, I lost my voice from all of the talking I was doing (nothing new in that) and I am definitely ‘that lady with all the kids’ but that’s ok. I can live with that. I had one champagne and lots of sparkling water while retro daddy got to enjoy some beers and I suspect mass will be a little quieter this morning as 6pm mass is much more acceptable than 9am after a late night out. Oh and my wardrobe choice was spot on….very happy but I knew I couldn’t go wrong with that little dress.
And on friday I managed to quilt this little quilt. It’s made from a hunky dory honey bun and another fabric from the range. It’s very pretty and floral…just how I like it. The quilting didn’t take me too long and now it’s just waiting to be neatened up and the binding can go on. And I’d kind of like to try this method with rounded corners which I think looks really cute……….
I just love the back which made use of the leftover blocks. Hunky Dory is one of my favourite fabric ranges and I actually have 8 or 9 honey buns ready to go into the store as well as a range of clearance hunky dory fabrics. I just need to find an hour or so to get stuck in. Finding just an hour is hard to do.
Corrie you looked great, glad you had a good time.
Love this quilt, it’s gorgeous. you are amazing what you get done with 4 little ones!!! I am in awe!! LOL.

LOVE that quilt! Yummy
I love the quilt and those curved corners are one of my favorite ways to finish off a quilt if it’s not going to cut into the design. Beautiful.
Very pretty. I just cut up what was left of a hunky dory layer cake I had for a new quilt. I’d better check your shop so I can make it bigger 😉
I adore that quilt! I really need to learn how because I would love quilts like that for my girls’ beds. Jealous of your talent!!
Hi Corrie
Love the quilt. I have a hunky dory jelly roll here waiting to be turned into a quilt. I had a look in your shop for the Hunky Dory fabric but couldn’t find it. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Love the quilt and the quilting. The back looks great with the extra bits. I’ve been doing backs with the extra bits lately too and I love the feeling of not wasting that matching fabric.
Looks great. I love the idea of rounded corners. That would really destress the process. Cherrie
