Keira loves wednesday afternoons….it’s the highlight of her week, ballet with Miss Cassie. This mummy loves ballet and did it for almost half of her life but finds taking everyone to ballet is an event in itself – the finding a carpark on a busy road, getting everyone out of the car and in to the hall safely, getting up and down the stairs safely and keeping the twins entertained for almost 45 minutes in a small room. It’s not the highlight of my week and I can only see it getting worse when I add another baby to the mix but I remind myself it won’t be like this forever.
But today was ballet open day and so cute to see miss keira doing her dancing
she was very cute and very focused the whole class and I was so proud of her and I learnt my lesson from last time and took the right lens for my camera so I could take photos from a distance!
next highlight of the ballet year will be the ballet concert in november when she is a little bird!
Such concentration!! Love the last photo!
Oh that is just gorgeous! I have two girls so I foresee something similar in my future…. or lots of sport..? hmmm.

Oh tell me about having one at ballet & 3 desperate to join in, giggle, move, speak & depending how spinsterish the teacher . . . breath!! I found it torture taking just one to ballet. When i had 3 doing classes, it was gorgeous, albeit, still juggling the non ballerina (boy) while their classes never ended or overlapped. The main road & stairs issue is insanity – find a scout hall ballet studio in a field, much safer, just not as glam!! Love Posie
James started dancing this year – a ballet/tap/jazz class. And I absolutely love it! I just cannot wait for Layla to start next year.
Thats too cute! I loved my dancing classes when I was a child.
I know nothing about cameras, but would love to learn more about what I should be looking for in my next purchase (when the moons align or something).
These are great images, little girls in pink are always so cherubic.
It all looks very familiar! (Skipping in the first photo, and pony gallops in the second one?)
I always wanted to do ballet when I was little but I had to go to Brownies instead which I HATED. I still remind Mum and Dad of that….often! 😉
Great photos! I can empathise with the effort required and such a similarity. Taking Miss 2 and Mr 8 week old to Miss 6’s ballet class at 5pm up two flights of concrete stairs is just the pits! I suppose it is all worth it when she enjoys it so much….
awww shes so cute and such beautiful photo’s i did smile bless her, all that pink 😉 How lovely. Dee x
Awww gorgeous!!! She looks like she’s concentrating SO hard!
Look at her face, she isn’t even aware of you taking pictures! That is worth all the effort dragging all those little ones with you. And yes, I agree, it is exhausting sometimes to drive around like crazy to get your kids to all the clubs etc. And I have to warn you, it will get more when they get bigger until they are big enough to go on there own ;-).
I am afraid they won’t appreciate it until they have kids of their own…
