Yes, I’m still sewing here! With Mathilda’s at the end of October, umpteen bolts of fabric and our little baby coming in between I had to promise retro daddy that I would have all my sewing and market preparations done before she arrives.
So my sewing room is like a sweat shop as I cut and sew and try to fill the very sad looking clothes rack which was almost empty after the last Mathilda’s at Lane Cove. I had a great idea to do a new dress pattern but that will have to wait till next year……
And retro daddy will also be given a crash course in Markets 101 as he will be my helper on the day. He always sets up and packs down with me but normally leaves me to my business but for the rest of the year will be helping me out the entire market- it could be interesting……………..
yum!!!!
and I have that book too….its great
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I saw your facebook status update that this was baking and instantly got a craving. Was going to do a search for the recipe but now I don’t have to! This will be getting made in our house this week – looks divine!
You can’t beat the CWA books ! Sometime the simple ones are just the best .
Yum. I love an old-school recipe. I recently made CWA scones (the version with flour, cream and milk – no rubbing butter into flour!). The best scones. Ever.
You definitely can’t beat the old CWA cookbook & the green and gold cookbook.
Oh that looks lovely!
I want that book. I’m a recipe junkie but I love me some simple recipes best of all.
Ooohhhh, this looks so yummy…..xo
I have my mum’s old CWA cookbook – I love the old recipes-in-a-paragraph, and quite often share recipes in the same fashion with others! your cake looks pretty yummy!
I love how your blog inspires me to cook and sew when I have been too busy to do either Corrie. Thankyou.
