Life is tough when your nearest ice cream van………….
is parked next to views like this! It’s at times like these when I just love living where we live in this big bustling city of Sydney! When you can forget about the high cost of living/real estate/pollution/traffic/number of people and so on……………
and for Keira, well it’s the best ice cream van because she gets an ice cream on the way home as a special treat.
Sadly for this mummy, soft serve is off the menu while pregnant but I’ll be ready and waiting this summer for my own ice cream(s)!
I’m not even a big fan of soft serve and yet craved it through both of my pregnancies. My stupid body didn’t know what it was doing.
Unfortunately for me my boys always want the messy ice creams, like the chocolate covered or sprinkle ones.
you know I have had seven kids and I ate soft serves all throughout my pregnancies…I think on my last one they gave me a pamphlet and told me I shouldn’t have it…I chose to ignore it! tough sacrifices sometimes for pregnant mums hey!
But Corrie, the important question is was it playing ‘Greensleeves’?! J x
Worth every penny for views like that
aww all i can say is that made me smile. We are lucky in the fact that our icecream van stops outside our door 😉 But as the summer starts to draw out here it won’t be for much longer…..enjoy enjoy ;-))
How did you get her to sit still before licking into that?? I’m not a big ice cream freak, but a couple of mine like a good soft serve, one would prefer only Magnums, hello?? I’m sure they could all suffer one with that view & gorgeous weather. Love Posie
mmmm, love these vans, it is good to know where there will always be one, but I wish they still roamed the streets with the music playing, that was summer holiday heaven.
I love soft serve ice cream. Yumm.
I made my first pajama shorts. I actually made two. I wear them to bed every night. I am so happy with them. I should probably make some pants soon as it the weather will start getting cold. Hope you’ll come take a look. By the way, I am turning 10 this weekend.
