Now, I’m not talking about my bodyshape which is definitely getting chunkier…….no, I’m talking about my crochet hats. I knew it was going to take me forever to refill my hat tree before Mathilda’s in Canberra this weekend and I just don’t have forever at the moment…….
so I went chunkier with my wool and what a difference! Instead of doing 1 hat a night I’ve been getting 3 finished….yay! So now I will now have a full tree for Mathilda’s this weekend in Canberra!
Well after I weave in the ends, make flowers and sew them on…of course! And here is my model making a fashion statement. She has taken to dressing herself on some mornings and today we are wearing a bolero by mummy, t-shirt by country road, russian doll skirt by mummy and barbie leggings with lace trim.
It was quite a combination teamed with her red shoes, but at least it’s one less person to get dressed in the morning! EDITED to add that I know everytime I post a picture of my hats you ask for the pattern! It’s still in my head and I adjust each size as I go – but since this is my last winter market for the year I might just have to write down the pattern for you – because I know I’ve said I would in the past!
So very cute and you are so very clever!
I think I have made exactly the same bolero in the same colour for my daughter!
Love the chunky hats!
Go the chunky yarn – geat job. She is super cute:) Still can’t believe that our two girls will be school age next year!
Oh i love them – are they easy?? I am a beginner crocheter but would love to crochet my kids beanies!!
ps – love the new profile pic!!
very boho chic! I think Keira is chanelling Sienna Miller
Any chance of sharing the crochet hat pattern with us corrie ? Would love to make one as well X
Yep, would pay a small fee for a really fast crochet beanie pattern.
Oh she is so cute. The hats look great too and 3 a night you really are super girl. Enjoy the weekend market once everything is done and you are there.
I love your crochet hat patterns Corrie and a pattern would be wonderful too since I live too far away to purchase one. Keira looks so cute modelling them too, and she hasnt done too badly dressing herself!
Chunky looks fab and I gotta say that is a fabulous get-up all ’round!
Love the chunky wool Corrie. What wool is that?
Kiera chose a great little outfit
Good luck for the markets
Those are really cute — what a good idea to go chunky! And as always, your little model is adorable!
I, too, would love to have the crochet hat pattern. We have 19 grandaughters, so I need speed.
Thanks!
