keeping me honest

Well I’m a day late but here is my hexagon flower. This posting a flower every wednesday does keep me honest (ok well I’ve missed a week or two but who’s counting). And at this rate it will probably take me a year to finish my hexagon flower quilt!

one flower wednesday

for this flower I used some Plume (Moda) charm squares and I love charm squares for these big hexagons as they are just the perfect size! So now I just need to start on the weekend so I can get a few done by next wednesday.

  7. So pretty!! I’ve been flat out lately so have missed your last few posts, wow, love that big home for sale!! Love the large family, i think 6 would have suited me, but with my husband ALWAYS away – like 10 month chunks, it’s just not practical, plus moving every 2 years, just not going to work.
Well while you were at your movie i went to see Sex & The City 2, loved it, all that colour, amazing!! No more children’s movies for me, ahhhh, love Posie

  8. Great flower. And it will be a awesome quilt with all the fabrics from charmpacks

  9. Very nice flower! Wonderful fabric. One thing about hexagon flowers is they do not fade, so it doesn’t matter how long it takes to make your quilt. :)

  15. I agree, not a race. I took this on planning about a year commitment. If we just keep encouraging/inspiring each other to stick with it. Your flower is wonderful. See you next week.
