We do love to eat out but taking all of my littlies out to a really nice restaurant isn’t something we’ve ever done……….but I’m happy to report it was a success!
the kids menu kept the little people happy and since Finn is also known as the chippie monster he was very happy with his plate of fish and chips
daddy kept them entertained with some songs and actions….
and miss keira was the perfect little diner sipping on her lemonade, telling jokes and being an angel. I think she’s just at the right age for eating out and making it a pleasant experience.
there was a playground right next door so the daddies (mine included) took all the little ones out for a play and the mummies got to enjoy our desserts. After lunch there were dry and crinkly leaves to run around in….
looking at these photos makes me realise how far we’ve come with the twinnies and how much they are growing into little people….
so a lovely relaxing day down at Clontarf and something we’ll do again!!
Great pics Corrie. I can’t can’t believe how quickly they are growing up. Doesn’t a certain Finn look like his Dad!
What gorgeous kids! youshould definitely post more photos of Finn and Tillie!
lovely pics Corrie!
sounds like a fabulous day out.
hugs to you
♥
Wow, they have grown so much even since we saw each other when Sooz was in town. When was that? The beginning of March?
Your beautiful children are growing up so quickly Corrie. Yes I agree, you should post more photos of the twinnies! They are so cute. It sounds as though you had a wonderful Mothers Day!
Good for you!! Sometimes getting out of the house is half the battle…and I only have one!! Bravo!! Gorgeous photos too
Good for you! I have a little chippie monster of my own too! Loved the pics. Nic
Well done – looks and sounds like you had a wondrful mothers day!
Being organised is the key and hugs about all of the comments you are getting over your growing tummy – who are they to say something anyway.
Having always enjoyed eating out, we never stopped and our kids have been restaurant savvy since they were born. Sure not each dining experience has been ideal but “the restaurant bag” has always been of huge assistance- small backpack with a few bits and bobs, little colouring in books and few colour pencils-it is never used OUTSIDE dining outings so it keeps things interesting…..truly life picks up when you can blow off cooking and work your way through the cheap eats books!
That Tillie is just beautiful, oh, she takes my breath away.
We’re big on restaurants with our 4, as they are so well behaved doing what they love, EATING!! Trick is to not let it drag on, have them used to it & it’s lovely for everyone!! I remember the first time we took the twinnies out, they were new babies in bouncers which we tucked under our chairs in a very exclusive restaurant, our eldest in a high chair eating an entire plate of Singapore Noodles to herself & the owner pulled up a chair & bought us a drink, telling us how awesome it was to see parents fearless enough to bring babies out with them. He also mentioned something about having half a dozen children himself . . . so we were his kind of audience!! Delicious Corrie, love Posie
It sounds like you had a lovely time out with the family and it’s wonderful when the children are well behaved. Your children are simply stunning!
Such great photos (and bubs as well). Looks like you are really enjoying the new camera and putting it to good use.
They’re SO adorable! It sounds like you had a wonderful day. All good practice for when there’s soon one more! 😉
