with retro daddy home this week I’m enjoying a rare moment to sew at 9am on a weekday! It doesn’t happen very often and I hope this is what it will be like when all my lovelies are off at school….which seems like decades away right now.
and while I’m sewing I am also admiring my new tree which looks great filled with little hats and hair ties! Still a few more hats and things to go on but it was definitely one of my best buys this year.
Hi Corrie, that tree looks fantastic!! Congrats on the bun in the oven by the way. I’ve met you before when we had a Ravelry gathering in Centennial Park a long time ago. Anyway, hope your well, Hannah xx
What a fantastic find. I would be loving that in my house tree as well!!
Looks great Corrie, its going to be so useful at markets.
The tree looks so nice with all your hats and hair accessories on it!
It looks great! You have been very busy making all those hats.
Looks lovely Corrie! And those hats are adorable. When I finally learn to crochet maybe they could be a first project…too tricky?
Hope all is well and enjoy some Mummy freedom
Oh! It’s looks so good decorated:) Lovely hats! I like the pink ones!!
Looks very pretty!
Well it looked great empty now it looks fantastic !
I just love that tree! It is perfect for your hats and Plushka’s head bands. Enjoy your holiday time with retrodaddy!
Oh, I thought I could resist the call of the tree, but now you are making it even cuter….I think I need a tree….
which forest did you lop it from?
oooh, I’m having tree envy! It looks gorgeous with all your pretty creations on it too!
I love the tree & all the hats and hair ties look great – you have been busy!
That tree is not only beautiful, but practical! I’ve been after something like this for my market stall, but as I’m only having two this year I’m not too sure it will be worth it in the long run (unless I can use it at home! And it’s so pretty I probably could.)
That tree is perfect as a display. What a great find!
the tree looks fabulous, so inviting with all those goodies on there!!
How nice would that tree look at Easter with some painted eggs that the kids have decorated hung off it.
Such a great a buy
It looks great filled up with all of your goodies.
Gorgeous Corrie, should draw them in in droves!!
This tree is unbelievable! just love it! Enjoy your stitching time…
Looks so cute!! Remember you can split the tree into 2 if you need more space to display your gorgeousness. Even string a faux washing line between them for display, they’re strong enough. Love your work & enjoy RetroDaddy. So looking forward to seeing you this weekend, at my home, yippee!! Actually with all the children, i could fill a tree like that with beanies, hats & hair accessories. Gorgeous work as always, love Posie
Love your hats i’m making a cerise pink sun hat for children at the moment. Love it love it love it xxxxxx
Hello, Corrie,
Today I received a blog award called the Sunshine Blog Award. I must pass it on to 12 other bloggers. I love your blog, although I don’t know that I have commented on it as I am kind of shy — although I am learning that commenting is not as hard as I thought lol.
Anyway, your blog is one of the ones I picked- it inspires me, and is always one of the ones I return to.
To pick up the blog award, please visit my blog at: http://tryingtolivemyfaith.blogspot.com/
Thanks for your lovely blog!
Sincerely, Peggy
That little tree is going to be super cute in your booth! Your comment about having your babies in school made me chuckle — with one not even here yet, you do have a while to wait. On the other hand, it will be here before you know it!
What makes you think you will have more time when the kids are at school…………..I thouht that but you do tend to get very involved with the school and all the new friends you also make there. The pre school years are the best, treasure them, mine are now in year 10 and 12 and they need more attention than ever!
I loved the tree when it was empty, but you have suckered me in with it decorated. I wanted one similiar for Xmas. Where did you find it? Does it have a brand name or is it hand-made?
This is SOOO cute! what a great find!
Oh it just divine and those hats are lovely oh I must go and get back into croheting will have to source a hat pattern I think.
Have a lovely day sweet inspiring lady.
Your tree is fantastic and looks so snazzy with all your pretty little things
Hey Corrie! I’m a new reader to your blog from the UK – your tree looks great with the little hats and hair ties! Are the hair ties made up of Yo-yos sewn together and do you sell them, I’d like some for my girlie!! Let me know! Thanks, Justine x
