yo-yo addict…

Yes, my name is corrie and I’m a clover yo-yo maker addict….’hi corrie’ you’re all supposed to say now! Its true, I am addicted to those little plastic yo-yo makers that come from japan in all shapes and sizes

so much so that I’ll be stocking them in my shop soon so that I can satisfy my addiction, the latest japanese magazines tell me that there is a butterfly one coming, oh heaven help me!

today I’m adding them to headbands…..they take a little longer than the regular yo-yo’s but are just perfect!

  1. I’ve only made one flower one, that turned out a bit wonky, then I gave up! But onbiously practice makes perfect, better get it back out. Have you tried the heart shape one?

  2. Those clover yoyos are very addictive. We have 2 circle ones and a flower one I think. I havent used the flower one as yet, but Isabelle does like your hearts!

  3. I love them too, aren’t they cute?! I have some yo yo makers in the post – I can’t wait till they arrive! :)

  4. Hi Corrie,
…oh well could be worse things to be addicted to I guess ..

  5. I bought the tiny heart and tiny flower yoyo maker months ago, but still haven’t got around to opening the packet! I was planning on headbands for Maddy and clips (when she gets hair) and even embellishments on clothes. They look easy to use and great for pretty scraps.

  6. Those are yo-tastic! I have just acquired a yo-yo maker but haven’t started yo-yo-ing yet…..

  7. They are fun and addictive! I only have the round kind, I love it but the butterfly sounds great!

  8. Would you be in total shock if I told you I had no idea what a yoyo was? I guess now it has something to do with these flowers, but still.. Am I weird? 😉

  9. How quickly could you get one of these in the mail(if I paid a little extra)for me? I would love to make some of these for the festival I am doing in 2 weeks.

Seriously let me know, I love the way they have turned out.

  10. LOVE the yo-yos Corrie, definitely worth the extra time to make the flower variety. At least the thing you’re addicted to is cute – people tend to think my sock addiction is some sort of weird foot fetish.

  11. A butterfly sounds really intriguing. I am already amazed by the flowers. The other day I suggested to a friend to use yo-yos for her babies headbands. She was estatic and will make a headband to match every item she makes.

  12. “Hi Corrie” They are so much fun! Have you just hand sewn the flower yo-yo on or glued it? xox

  13. Love, love, love!! But will you sell those yo-yo makers in your shop? !!
I received the kaleidescope pattern book yesterday ; you are so quick!!! It’s as lovely as I thought ! MERCI!

  14. I love these flower makers too. Have you tried putting a smaller circle of fabric on top of the big one so when you gather it up you get a different colour flower centre. My Mum taught me this trick.

  15. Ohmygosh — a butterfly one??? We’re so screwed….

  16. do you pull a bit of the fabric up from the back thru the hole? that looks sweet
