this one is for the kiddies but I’m sure everyone will be eating it. It was perfect at Keira’s pink party and the leftovers didn’t last long! Its an adaptation of a Woman’s Weekly recipe which was too fussy and time consuming for me.
heres what you need
375g white chocolate melts
1/2 cup desic. coconut
1 cup raspberry lollies (chopped)
1 bag mini marshmallows
* melt chocolate for 2-3 minutes on medium in microwave. Stir several times and remove just as it is melted.
* Add remaining ingredients and combine well.
* pour into lamington/square cake tin. I use silicon pans which don’t need greasing or lining but if you’re using a metal tin I’d probably line it so it just pops out! Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
* Cut and enjoy. These also looked adorable in tiny pink patty pans! As always, I take no responsibility for the number you consume!
And how great is the current issue of Family Circle…so many craft projects for winter! Follow the link for a free chocolate caramel slice recipe..yum!
there are so many great craft projects and the recipes will have winter covered too….why haven’t I bought this magazine before! Knitting, crochet, quilting, french embroidery….
Straight out to get myself the family circle…how sweet is that embroidery!
Yum that looks delish! I thought Family Circle was discontinued a few years ago.
Gorgeous Corrie! You know I’ve never bought that magazine either I think I might check it out next time I’m out. I went to Tokyo Mart today, saw the cookies you mentioned! I like to make rocky road as well. I add slivered almonds to mine but I guess you can’t do that with parties now so many kids have bloody nut allergies.
thanks Corrie, I am going to make that rocky road for Peppers 1st birthday in 2 weeks! Can’t wait to go totally PINK!!! lol
That recipe is pure evil!!
I can feel my thighs expanding as I read!!!

Corrie, I haven’t bought Family Circle for years but i think I NEED to now. Thanks for the heads up!
I was so dirty when they stopped Family Circle so am excited every time they bring out a special issue – there was one at Christmas too which was great. Should be more of it!!!
The Rocky Road recipe will come in handy for the Pink Ribbon Breakfast!!!
Sorry to post again but am having trouble working it out!!!
I know!! I picked one up the other day and was very pleasantly surprised! Wish it was could enough here for the cardi’s. And yum!
Yum! I might have to put that one on the list for my daughters third birthday party in July.
Thanks for getting back to me about recommended shops in Melbourne. I feel a little more at ease now that I have had some shops recommended by a seasoned crafter!
Angela,
yes they are doing winter and christmas issues apparently which would explain why I have bought it every now and then. I have last Christmas and last winter and from memory they were packed with recipes and craft too!
bring it back I say!!! i think competition is tough in the womens magazine market!
Corrie:)
Thanks for the pics of the Family Circle – I will have to investigate. I don’t usually ever look at it and didn’t realise that have craft now.
Oooh those one button cardigans are gorgeous! My mum used to buy Family Circle mag and my sisters and I were all members of the Cocky’s Circle Club. I think that just meant we had a membership card but we were excited about it nonetheless.
Kiddies shmiddies – I’d be stuffing my face with that!!! I just love your recipes and they are becoming firm faves with a lot of my friends. And wow thanks for the heads up on the Family Circle – its looks lovely!
YUMMYYY!!! I will have to make that…..

So excited to see they’ve relaunched family circle – it was out of print for a while. I’ve made the ribbed baby kimono before (the same pattern was in an old issue) and it is really cute.
Thank you, I have now bought Family Circle and am off to make Rocky Road!
Corrie – you NEED to check out http://www.ravelry.com if you haven’t already. FREE. ONLINE. PATTERNS. Need I say more?!? Awesome!
