capture the cover

October is a busy and exciting month for retro mummy but it also means I have lots of things to finish up in the next week or so! One of the things I’ve been meaning to mention is a pretty cool competition that could see one of your photos on the cover of your local yellow pages next year.

Not only could your picture be on the cover but there are some great prizes going to winning entries too. A new DSLR anyone? iPad? cash? The idea behind Capture the Cover is letting amateur photographers like you and me share photos of where they live and be on the cover of your local Yellow Pages.

These are my all time favourite photos of the northern beaches. And you can find more information on the website here, pinterest, facebook and twitter. So get snapping and hurry as there isn’t much time left (Sydney entries close on the 5th October) and some cities have already closed.
